Title: Locating Endo-Trivial Modules on the Brauer Tree

Abstract: If \(G\) is a finite group and \(k\) a field of prime characteristic \(p\), a \(kG\)-module is termed "endo-trivial" if its \(k\)-endomorphism ring decomposes as a direct sum of a copy of the trivial module and projective summands. In this talk we explain how to determine whether a simple \(kG\)-module is endo-trivial by looking at its position on the Brauer tree.
