Title: Partition Backtracking in HPC-GAP
Abstract: We will discuss some of the aspects of implementing, improving, and parallelising, a central algorithmic tool in computational group theory, the partition backtracking method, in HPC-GAP. HPC-GAP is a version of GAP developed in St Andrews that enables GAP users to write code that can make better use of modern hardware.
