Title: Normally Monomial Groups: Representations and Computational Aspects
Abstract:
Normally monomial groups are the groups which have all their representations, induced from a linear representation of a normal subgroup. In this talk, I shall describe a method to find these normal subgroups in a way that all irreducible representations can be determined. Further, an efficient algorithm to compute the same shall be described. Some interesting results related to class of normally monomial groups, obtained using GAP shall also be discussed.
