Title: A Quotient of Ariki-Koike Algebra as an Endomorphism Ring
Abstract:
This is joint work with J. Cooke and P. Vaz. We study the endomorphism algebra of a tensor product of modules for quantum \(sl_n\) consisting of a (universal) Verma module tensored with many fundamental representations. The Ariki-Koike algebra surjects on this endomorphism algebra and we explicitely compute the kernel of this map. In the case of \(sl_2\), we recover the Temperley-Lieb algebra of type \(B\).
