The Department of Mathematics of the RWTH Aachen is pleased to organise this workshop on the occasion of the retirement of Volker Enss. It is intended to gather those who were and are involved with advances in Scattering Theory for Schrödinger Operators and related fields.
The workshop will be held at the Main Building (Hauptgebäude) of the RWTH Aachen. The Main Building is located in Templergraben 55. See travel details and a map of the campus for information on access. All lectures will be held in Hörsaal V. The workshop will start at 09:00 am with registration close to Hörsaal V.

During the workshop, an afternoon tea will be provided, lunch is left to the discretion of the participants. In the evening there will be a celebratory dinner in restaurant "Stadtkrone" (Pontstraße 50-52). If you signed-up for the dinner, please remember to pay for yourself and each accompanying partner 40 EUR upon registration in cash.
We will not charge a conference fee. A limited amount of funds is available from the Graduiertenkolleg "Hierarchie und Symmetrie in mathematischen Modellen" and the Department of Mathematics of the RWTH Aachen to provide financial support for participants. Please inform the organisers whether you need financial support.

Accommodation. If you arrive on Thursday, April 3 or earlier, you will be accommodated in Hotel Baccara, Turmstraße 174. The hotel is offering special rates for the participants of the workshop.
If you arrive on Friday, April 4, you will be accommodated in the Haus Königshügel, a university guest house located in Melatener Straße 31. On arrival you should collect the key for your room at the reception of the guest house. Please note that the reception is open till 4 pm only. If you arrive later, contact the organisers and we will collect your key.
Hotel Baccara and Haus Königshügel are located very close to the Main Building of the RWTH Aachen (approximately 10 minutes by foot). The way is marked on the plan.
