Updates:

  • A preliminary version of the schedule is now available (not yet complete, though).
  • On Monday: The talks start at 2 p.m. in Hörsaal IV (in the "Hauptgebäude", across the street from Lehrstuhl D). We would also like to invite everyone to join us for coffee starting 1 p.m. at Lehrtstuhl D.
  • If possible please bring your own coffee mug.
  • There will be a guided tour in the Cathedral of Aachen for our group in English, organised by the local tourist office. This takes place on the free afternoon: Wednesday, March 24, 16:15-17:00. It costs about 5 Euro per person (10-25 persons, 4 Euro each + 20 Euro for the group). You can register for this tour during the conference.

The Topic

There will be lectures and lecture series covering topics of current interest in arithmetic of group rings and related structures like Hopf algebras, Burnside rings, unit groups, symmetric orders, quaternion algebras etc.

Accommodation

Till Febuary 14th we had a limited number of rooms pre-reserved in Hotel Marschiertor, which were available at a rate of 62 euro per night (breakfast included). Other possibilities for accommodation can for instance be found here
