History: This text file CHANGES
describes the most important differences to former versions of the
package.
After oading this package GAP will use a different method to compute the character table of a non-solvable group. There is also the possibility to construct complicated character tables interactively.
Some functions of this package may be of independent interest: identification of conjugacy classes of given elements, computation of power maps, utilities for unimodular matrices.
Detailed installation instructions are contained in the package README and INSTALL file.
Here is the documentation of the CCTab package in several output formats. If you have installed the package as described above you can also access all of these documents from the GAP online help.
There is a public git repository of this package, including an issue tracker, at https://github.com/frankluebeck/CCTab.
The CCTab package is availabe in several formats:
CCTab-0.4.tar.gz
(GNU tar archive, gzip'ed)
CCTab-0.4.tar.bz2
(GNU tar archive, bzip2'ed)
