Research I am a PhD student of Gerhard Hiß (RWTH Aachen University) and Moritz Weber (Saarland University). My research is funded by an RWTH Scholarship for Doctoral Students and I am member of the Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG) of the SFB TRR 195 Symbolic Tools in Mathematics and their Application. My area of research is an interplay of algebra, functional analysis and combinatorics. In particular I am interested in "easy" quantum groups which involves the theory of non-commutative opertor algebras, (universal) C*-algebras, partitions of sets, Schur-Weyl results and tensor categories. I am currently working on group-theoretical quantum groups and interpolating partition categories, which link the representation theory of compact matrix quantum groups to Deligne's interpolating tensor categories.
