Title: Finding Canonical Images in Permutation Groups

Abstract:

There are many applications of canonical images, in particular proving if there exists an element of a group which maps between two objects A and B under a given action.

The most well researched existing work in canonical images is finding a canonical image of a graph under the symmetric group. In this talk I will show how to similarly find canonical images of many other objects, and within any permutation group.
