  Why should I come?

The Nikolaus conference is an annual meeting at Lehrstuhl D für Mathematik (RWTH Aachen). The main aim is to bring together people who have recently finished a thesis on a topic in group or representation theory and some established people in this area. Particularly welcome are reports on projects with a computational aspect.

  When does it take place?

The talks will be scheduled from Friday, December 5, 2014, about 2pm to Saturday, December 6, 2014, about 6pm.

All talks will be at most 20 minutes.

After the talks on Saturday we will have the traditional Research Cambridge Style session in a nearby restaurant and pub. For this reason many participants will stay until Sunday morning.

Long coffee breaks and the "evening sessions" provide time for further discussions.

  Where will this take place?

ATTENTION if you have been to Lehrstuhl D before - we have moved to a new location!

The talks and coffee breaks will be in Pontdriesch 14/16. A lecture hall is in the ground floor, and Lehrstuhl D is in the first floor (German counting).

How can I register for this meeting?

If you intend to come, we ask you to tell us by filling this registration form.

Please, consider to also offer a talk when you register! Just tell me a title (and possibly provide an abstract).

  Where can I stay?

We had some rooms available in the RWTH guesthouse. But the guesthouse is now fully booked.
