Title: Computing Normalisers of Highly Intransitive Permutation Groups

Abstract:

Let $$H \leq S_n$$ be a highly intransitive group where all its orbits are small. The computation of its normaliser $$N_{S_n}(H)$$ in $$S_n$$ can be sped up by how orbits can map to one another. I will talk about how we do this when $$H$$ is a subdirect product of $$C_p^k$$ for a prime $$p$$, and when $$H$$ is a subdirect product of $$S_3^k$$.
