Title: An Infinite Family of Axial Algebras
Abstract:
Axial algebras of Monster type are non-associative algebras generated by idempotents that obey the Monster or Majorana fusion law. The Griess algebra is an example of an axial algebra of Monster type and, in general, these algebras are closely related to the Monster and other 6-transposition groups. I will present the first example of an infinite family of axial algebras of Monster type and will also discuss several interesting properties of the algebras that make up this family.
