Short Description

The purpose of the LOOPS package is to provide researchers in nonassociative algebra with a computational tool for calculations in quasigroups and loops, which would integrate standard notions in quasigroup theory with libraries of loops and quasigroups. The authors also wished to expand GAP towards the realm of nonassociative structures, that are only sporadically present in GAP (e.g. octonion algebras in version 4.3).
