Location
The conference will take place in the Lecture Hall V (Hörsaal V) of the main building of RWTH Aachen University, Templergraben Nr. 55.
Directions for reaching lecture hall V: After entering the main building you will find yourself in the entrance hall. A golden statue of a young boy will welcome you there.
By stairs: Take the hallway on your left hand side. If you follow the hall and its right-hand bend, you will reach a staircase at the end. Walk upstairs to the 2nd floor (4 sets of stairs). Enter the hallway through the glass door. Lecture hall V is now the first door on your right hand side.
Alternative: Walk up the huge stairway you are facing after you entered. Then, there will be two other stairs (one on your left, and one on your right hand side). Take the stairs to your left. You will face a room signed "Hörsaal I" when you go up. Up there, on your right hand side you will notice another staircase. Use it to get to the second floor. Inside the hallway you have to turn right, follow it down and around the corner. Lecture hall V is the last room on your left hand side before the glass doors.
By elevator/lift: Take the hallway on your left hand side, then the elevator is situated on your right. Take it to reach the 2nd floor. Inside the hallway you have to turn right, follow it down and around the corner. Lecture hall V is the last room on your left hand side before the glass doors.
Accomodation
We advise regular participants to use the website www.aachen-tourist.de/hotels for hotel booking. Note, that the hotel Baccara has a special offer (use the keyword "SCA" to get it) of 65 Euro per night including breakfast.
For invited speakers we will make reservation at the hotel Baccara or at the guest house of RWTH.
