Title: Minimal Non-Solvable Bieberbach Groups
Abstract:
The question about the minimal Hirsch length of a torsion-free virtually polycyclic group, which is non-solvable, was recently considered by Jonathan Hillmann. In the talk, I present the usage of representation theory and computational tools in the "virtually abelian" case. In particular, I show that using specific databases available in GAP made the solution possible.
