Aim
The Nikolaus conference is an annual meeting at Lehrstuhl für Algebra und Zahlentheorie (RWTH Aachen). The main aim is the meeting of people who have recently finished a thesis on a topic in group or representation theory with some established people in this area. A main focus are projects with a computational aspect.
Dates
Friday, December 8, 2023, about 2pm toSaturday, December 9, 2023, about 6pm.
The length of all talks on a Nikolaus conference is restricted to 20 minutes.
The schedule contains long coffee breaks and "evening sessions" which can be used for further discussions.
After the talks on Saturday we will have the traditional Research Cambridge Style session in one of the nearby restaurants/pubs. For this reason many participants will stay until Sunday morning.
Location
We can meet and will have coffee breaks in Pontdriesch 14/16 (first floor). Lectures will be in the ground floor of the same building.
Registration
If you intend to come, please, help us to plan the event by filling this registration form.
I would be great if you also offer to give a talk with your registration!
