Title: Robinson's Conjecture on Defects
Abstract:
In 1996 Geoffrey Robinson put forward a conjecture on defects of characters in blocks of finite groups. This was soon after reduced to quasi-simple groups by Murai. In our talk we will report on recent progress. This is joint work with Radha Kessar.
