PD Dr. Michael H. Mertens

I am a Lecturer (Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben) at the Lehrstuhl für Algebra und Zahlentheorie of RWTH Aachen University. Here you can find a short CV of mine.

My main research interests lie in number theory, especially modular forms and their generalisations and in particular applications in Moonshine and vertex operator algebras.

In the summer term 2024 I will be teaching a course on Cryptography (in German). Further information can be found here.
