Title: On the Table of Marks of a Direct Product of Finite Groups
Abstract:
The table of marks of a finite group \(G\) encodes a great deal of useful information about the subgroup lattice of \(G\), however it is extremely difficult to compute.
In this talk we will discuss methods which can be used to construct the table of marks of a direct product of finite groups from the tables of marks of the individual factor groups and those of their subgroups.
