What is Mister-X?

Mister-X is a realtime version of the boardgame classic "Scotland Yard", which is played as a kind of multi user dungeon over the internet. This program was developped by David van Bebber and me.

What do I need to play it?

Mister-X is a client-server-program. The server runs on Linux and on Windows. To compile you need under Windows the cygwin compiler (see Cygwin Homepage), which allows access to TCP/IP sockets. As client you can use any multi user dungeon client. We use tf under Linux and mushclient under Windows. All computers taking part have to be connected via a TCP/IP network.
